PCI Utilities 2.1.11

Announcements of packages that are now released.

Postby dingetje » Fri Dec 03, 2004 3:54 am

The PCI Utilities contains a library for portable access to PCI bus configuration space and several utilities based on this library. Current version works only on Linux and FreeBSD, but it can be easily extended to work on other systems as well.

This FREESCO package only contains the 3 utilties, namely lspci, setpci and update-pciids. In the web control panel a links is added to list the PCI devices on your system. The http://pciids.sourceforge.net/ project maintains a list of PCI ID's, from which the local 'database' is updated by running the update-pciids command.

Hi Dingetje,

Were you having trouble with my package?

Oops sorry!
Didn't realize it existed yet. It was just something I stumbled accros and though it would make a nice addition to FREESCO.

That's OK Dingetje!

I made a post (somewhere here on the forums) stating that anyone is more than welcome to repackage any of my packages for any reason (with or without my permission). In fact, I'll even send the /pkg directory and sources from my development machine if they want to start where I left off.

I was just hoping that if you found something seriously wrong with my package, you'd let me know :D

I'm having trouble with FTP right now anyway <_<
