Fortune

Announcements of packages that are now released.

Postby Lightning » Mon Mar 07, 2005 1:24 am

The fortune package has been around for some time, it was just never announced on the forum. This is an update to the old package to improve it and to make it compliant with all versions of the 03x series.

What fortune does is to randomly print specific sayings, words of wisdom, or quotes every time you log into the console. The side effect of this package is that you may find yourself loging in and out a few times so that you can read more than one at a time. <_<

Well, I installed the package yesturday and I had no problems.
So I checked again today, and still no problems...

Old-dog
can you ping lewys-spot.dyndns.org
and does it resolve to an IP address ?

If not, then I guess there is something wrong with your (ISP's?) DNS...

Well my ISP connection was down for a period of time last night and early this morning from a modem gone wrong, but it is up and running again.
