Clam AntiVirus is a GPL antivirus toolkit for UNIX. The main purpose of this software is the integration with mail servers. It provides a flexible and scalable multi-threaded daemon, a command line scanner and a virus database that is kept up to date.

This package is intended for use with exim 4.x versions and is integrated in exim support, just add :
Code: Select all
av_scanner = clamd:/tmp/clamd.sock
to your config file.

To update the database just add a cron job similar to :
Code: Select all
00 1 * * * /pkg/bin/freshclam

To install :
Code: Select all
pkg -i http://freesco.zapto.org/packages/beta/clamav_0.70_phbc50

Package is still *beta* and will improve with input from fellow users ;) .
best regards,
phbc50

I found it here:

<a href='http://moreira.dnsalias.net/freescosoft/0.3.x/clamav_0.70_phbc50' target='_blank'>http://moreira.dnsalias.net/freescosoft/0....mav_0.70_phbc50</a>

However, due to it's age, it looked like there were only 190 definitions that it was protecting against... I've requested an updated clamav package <a href='http://www.freesco.org/support-forum/index.php?showtopic=16616' target='_blank'>here</a>.

Just a followup:
things are looking a little poopy at the moment - the compile fails on both my debian desktop as well as on freesco in my zipslack vmware.
It has a few issues with glibc which i am hoping to work around.
Stay tuned for more updates and hopefully a breakthrough...
