<font color='#000080'><a href="" target="_blank">Here</a> is a real good howto for accessing a workstation inside your LAN via the internet using <a href="" target="_blank">VNC</a> or <a href="" target="_blank">ThightVNC</a> and <a href="" target="_blank">PuTTY</a>

This solution will create a secure SSH tunnel to access the workstation. You'll get a double bonus when SSH compression is also enabled.

The only requirement on your freesco box is to have the OpenSSH server package installed.

The above link is dead but the howto has found a place in the <a href='' target='_blank'>FREESCO DokuWiki</a> or you can download the same article as <a href='' target='_blank'>PDF file</a>

As of version 034 FREESCO also has a builtin SSH server called dropbear, that also can be used to setup the VNC tunnel.
