ext2 files

Postby strampke » Fri May 09, 2014 6:07 pm

Hi,
Starting 0.4.5 the ext2 check doesn't start because the necessary files are not in place
/mnt/bootdev/router/pkg/sbin/e2fsck
How come? What can I do to repair.

Besides: starting dhcpd - malformed entry
Where does it go wrong

Report.txt added.

One day later:
reinstalled from disk leaving old files intact and there they are, my ext2 check files

Replaced the (year 1996) 3.0V battery in the computer so that I didn't have to set time every reboot

As if a miracle occured the dhcp malformed entry warning vanished.

Happy ever after.

I guess it did not get fully installed the first time, which is sort of strange. But it is not impossible to happen as the scripting is quite complex.

Just one question, have you tried the 0.4.5 "tuxhunter"?

If you are afraid that you might make a mistake. The chances are high that you will never learn anything.
