Bug In Hosts-1.9-lightning.pkg

I believe there is a little bug in the hosts-1.9-lightning.pkg

In the rc_hosts file there is a missing parameter for the SNARF command:
-T time limit is missing.

It must to be something like this:
upd() {
echo "$AB...$HT"
snarf -n -T <span style='color:red'>180</span> <a href='http://www.ssmedia.com/utilities/hosts/hosts.cfm?format=pc' target='_blank'>http://www.ssmedia.com/utilities/hosts/hosts.cfm?format=pc</a> /pkg/hosts.ssmedia
B=$?
snarf -n -T <span style='color:red'>180</span> <a href='http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.txt' target='_blank'>http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.txt</a> /pkg/hosts.mvps

Is this correct?

Regards!!!

No, actually the -T should be completely removed. But you are accurate in your assumption that adding a -T 180 or any number there would solve your problem. What has happened is that previously the -T option was a static set time limit, but the entire -T flag in reality did not work up until just recently. So that option was ignored because it was enabled but didn't work. Now the option has been reconfigured so that it works and it has to have a number as well. So the only real solution with regards to the package to maintain backwards compatibility was to remove it completely.
Which this package was updated to correct this problem Jan 23 2009 and should have propagate to all of the mirrors. However if you have an old install of the package then you can either manually remove the "-T" flag completely or add a number as you would like. Which with the update I left the versioning alone because of problems removing older packages. So I just let it update over the old package.
If you are afraid that you might make a mistake. The chances are high that you will never learn anything.
