Setting Cmos Date

Hello,

I have Pentium 100MX machine which I am thinking of running a freesco router, but every time I reboot this machine, it says; "CPU setting Incorrect. CMOS Checksum bad......."

This error occurs due to date setup which is displays on the CMOS. When I setup the date on the CMOS and reboot, machine starts ok, but when I reboot the next time the same error occurs.

Any ideas how to solve it permanently?

The battery on the motherboard may be empty.
If it is so the CMOS memory will loose all data
when the current is switched off.
Try to replace it.

There was infact a bug in one the beta Freesco versions but this should have been corrected in the beta testing versions.
So , to my knowledge there shouldn't be any versions out there to mess up the cmos clock.

What Freesco version are you running ?
