3rd Party Package Requesting

Postby scribebox » Tue Jul 19, 2005 7:49 pm

i would like to see someone make an xlink kai package :) <a href='http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/binary/kaid-7.0.0.5-linux_x86.tar.bz2?downloadID=103&grab=Download' target='_blank'>http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/binary/kaid-7.0...3&grab=Download</a>

i tried to install it manually via ftp onto my freesco box, and then tried running using ./kaid -c kaid.con

ok, now, setting up the .conf file is very simple, but, i can never get it to run, :), not sure if it has to be compiled with the freesco kernel or..what.. but, ermm, please any help would be appreciatted, because, i have a 500mhz router that is just dying to tunnel my xbox halo network :D

from the README

10-May-2005
WARNING: don't use the old version of kaid.conf

- Edit kaid.conf and put your username and password
- Do other changes on kaid.conf (instructions inline on that file)
- Start kaid with (root required):
./kaid -c kaid.conf
- The flag -h should help you with more options (./kaid -h)

Kai has also my vote!

I would be nice if someone could/would compile kai(d) for freesco, it is very usefull and I think a lot of people would be happy if this packages would be availible for freesco.
