Yes there is a Linux time client included in the main FREESCO zip file "linux-time-client.tgz". Unpack the file on your Linux machine and read the instructions on how to configure it. You then can set a crond job to run the client as often as you want. Be aware that some anti virus software will think that the "nc" binary is a virus because of some of the things it is capable of doing.
If you are afraid that you might make a mistake. The chances are high that you will never learn anything.
